SHORT BIO

Soprano Madina Karbeli is a winner of numerous operatic competitions such as Competition of Marcella Pobbe (Ist prize), Equivoci Musicali (Premio Equivoci), Franz Stanner Operetta Competition (2nd prize) and Prize of the President of Georgia as a promising artist. Ms. Karbeli started her operatic career in her home town Tbilisi, Georgia. In the roles of Norina/Don Pasqualle, Rosina/Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Oscar/Il Ballo in Maschera she made her debuts first as a student of Tbilisi State Conservatory, then as a soloist of Tbilisi State Opera.
